Software Engineer turned gospel singer, writer, composer and performer:Juochi Okuwa migrated to the U.S from Nigeria in 1988 where she went to college and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems Management and a Masters degree in Software Engineering. In 2009 she had an experience that completely changed her life. What started as dream encounter with Jesus Christ gave birth to a “gospel artist”.

 

My journey as a gospel singer is a very unique one. I received all my songs from the Lord Jesus through the Holy Spirit by various ways. Currently, I have released two full successful albums in Nigeria, two single albums. My first single “In the presence of the Lord” was such a great success and subsequent albums have been very successful. Great is the Lord and mighty is His holiness from generation to generation. Each song is unique, different, alive, and speaks to our inner most beings in a very unique way.

 

I will advice you the reader to please listen to the lyrics of each of my songs and pay close attention to the messages in each song. The Lord is ministering to us. All my songs are original, composed, sang as received from the Lord Jesus Christ. Each song is different, unique and alive. God works in very mysterious ways. His ways are higher than our ways and His choices are different from ours. My mission and goal is to reach out to people of our generation and beyond through these messages that the Lord Jesus gave me through gospel songs.Word of advice to all my readers and fans:When the Lord calls you to His ministry, do not look at your limitations but rather look at the Big God who has already declared you capable. Doubts and fears limits the flow of God’s anointing. I glorify the name of the Lord for finding me worthy for such a wonderful work in His vineyard.
